<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of threshing work by smoothly transferring reaped grain culms from a reaping/conveying device to a feed chain.SOLUTION: The combine harvester comprises: a threshing device (3) including a traveling device (2), at a lower par of a machine body frame (1) equipped with an engine (62), driven by a first hydraulic type continuously variable transmission (66); and a feed chain (12B), at an upper part of the machine frame (1), driven by a second hydraulic type continuously variable transmission (10); a reaping/conveying device (4) in front of the machine frame (1), driven at a speed synchronized with a driving speed of the traveling device (2), reaping grain culms in the farm field, and transferring them to the feed chain (12B); and a control device (85) controlling the second hydraulic type continuously variable transmission (10) to change gear so as to retain a conveying speed of the feed chain (12B) at a substantially same speed as the conveying speed of the reaping/conveying device (4) in a variable speed range excluding a part of variable speed range of the driving speed of the traveling device (2).</p> |
