The structure (1) has an accessible and/or passable supporting area (2) for crossing an obstacle, and a building structure (3) accessible over the supporting area and constructed in the form of a residential building, office building, restaurant building or hotel. The building structure extends in a longitudinal direction till to a longitudinal supporting structure (8) that extends in a crossing direction of the bridge structure. The supporting area is guided through the building structure. A supporting structure (6) is designed as a carrier for the supporting area and the building structure.
