PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video audio signal processing unit which supplies a current to a plurality of external apparatus, while suppressing increase in capacity of a current control unit.SOLUTION: This television receiver 100 (video audio signal processing unit) includes a current limit circuit 6 for controlling the amount of current supplied to a plurality of external apparatus A, B and C through connectors 7a, 7b and 7c, and a control unit 4 for discriminating the external apparatus (e.g., the external apparatus A) performing a predetermined processing, out of the plurality of external apparatus A, B and C, and other external apparatus (e.g., the external apparatus B, C). The current limit circuit 6 is configured to reduce the amount of current supplied to the external apparatus (e.g., the external apparatus B, C) discriminated by the control unit 4, when compared with the amount of current supplied to the external apparatus (e.g., the external apparatus A). |
