PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information management system capable of efficiently performing business relating to acquisition, maintenance and/or use of industrial property rights while understanding entire business.SOLUTION: An information management system comprises: a database server 12 that manages a database 41 for recording business data relating to industrial property rights; a client terminal 52 that is connected to the database server 12 in a manner capable of communicating with it and is operated by a user allowed to access the database 41; and business process management means 22A that manages business processes including business steps resulting from broadly dividing a series of business relating to the industrial property rights and main processes resulting from dividing the business steps according to work unit of the user. The business process management means 22A comprises first display means 22Aa for simultaneously displaying the business stages and the main processes on a screen of the client terminal 52.
