摘要 <p>The present patent discloses a methodology for detecting the fluid supply to ice-formation systems, detection of the fluid supply (stored in the cooling department of the refrigerator) being achieved by means of measuring the temperature of the ice moulds (arranged in the freezing compartment of the refrigerator). Generally speaking, said methodology for detecting the fluid supply to an automatic ice-formation system requires reading and comparison of the data from at least one temperature sensor (4) associated with at least one ice mould (31) placed in at least one freezing chamber (3) with reference data in at least one central data-processing unit (5), and determining the presence of the fluid supply in at least one fluid-storage compartment (21) arranged in at least one refrigeration chamber (2) on the basis of the result of said comparison. The fluid-storage compartment (21) arranged in the refrigeration chamber (2) is considered to be empty upon the assumption that the temperature measured by the temperature sensor (4) is substantially equivalent to the temperature relating to the reference data, and the fluid-storage compartment (21) arranged in the refrigeration chamber (2) is considered to be full upon the assumption that the temperature measured by the temperature sensor (4) is different from the temperature relating to the reference data.</p>
