The circuit (100) has a control unit control triggering of switch-off element (110) adapted to a trigger signal, and an electrical connection provided between a first terminal (130) and a second terminal (140). The control unit restores the electrical connection between the first terminal and the second terminal. A fuse element (120) is connected in parallel between the first element and the second element. The switch-off element carries current with a current value. The switch-off element is uniquely releasable. An independent claim is also included for an electrical supply network.
