<p>METHOD FOR ADMINISTERING AGENT FOR CONTROLLING ECTOPARASITE TO DOG There is provided a method for controlling an animal ectoparasite having excellent controlling effects. The method for controlling an ectoparasite of dogs comprises orally administering an ectoparasite-controlling agent comprising as an active ingredient an isoxazoline compound represented by formula (I) __ F3C x2 ~ O-NQ1A X2N A1 wherein X1 represents a halogen atomor a Cl-C3 haloalkyl, X 2 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a Cl-C3 haloalkyl, X3 represents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom, Q represents, for example, Q1, A1 represents R" -C (=0) -N (R12 ) -N (R' 3 ) -, R1 1-C (=0) -N (R12 ) -CH 2 - or R-C (=0) -N (R12 ) -, and R'0 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a Cl-C3 alkyl group, to a dog in a period from 30 minutes immediately before the start of feeding to 120 minutes after the end of feeding.</p> |
