PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide anti-VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) antibody for blocking or preventing relapse tumor growth or relapse cancer cell growth, and for treating non-neoplastic conditions comprising chronic inflammation or atherosclerosis, and to provide its composition.SOLUTION: A VEGF antibody comprises HVR antibodies selected from six HVRs as follows: (i) an HVR-L1 comprising the amino acid sequence of X1X2R X3SL [X1 is G or A, X2 is V or I, and/or X3 is T or R], wherein the HVR-L1 comprises 1, 2 or 3 substitutions in any combination of the following positions; (ii) an HVR-L2 comprising the amino acid sequence of DASSLA; (iii) an HVR-L3 comprising the amino acid sequence of SYKSPL; (iv) an HVR-H1 comprising the amino acid sequence of SISGSWIF; (v) an HVR-H2 comprising the amino acid sequence of GAIWPFGGYTH; and (vi) an HVR-H3 comprising the amino acid sequence of RWGHSTSPWAMDY. |
