<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat slide device capable of promptly preventing development of bending deformation in a vertical direction when large load is inputted in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle.SOLUTION: The seat slide device comprises: a lower ball 20a rollably interposed between a first lower ball guide 18, formed at a connecting portion of a bottom wall 12 and a first longitudinal wall 11 of a lower rail 3, and a second lower ball guide 19, formed at a lower end of a second flange 16 of an upper rail 4; and a projection 17 that is projected on the bottom wall 12 and narrows a gap in a vertical direction between a second longitudinal wall 14 and a connecting wall 16c of the second flange 16. The projection 17, when load applied to occur pressing force between the lower ball 20a and the second lower ball guide 19 causes the second longitudinal wall 14 to be deformed, can contact the connecting wall 16c.</p> |
