Invention relates to an arrangement for taking a sample of lubrication oil in an internal combustion engine from its cylinder's inner surface, in which arrangement a sampling device comprising: a body (34) into which there is arranged a space (36), which is provided with a sample port (38) at its first end, a needle part arranged into the space to co-operate with the sample port, an actuator coupled to the needle part for positioning the needle to selectively open and close the sample port. A needle part is arranged into a first body part (34') of the sampling device 22 and the actuator (42) is arranged into a second body part 34'', which needle part and actuator are arranged one after the other in common central axis in force transmission communication with each other and the body part comprises a sample channel extending from the sample port to the second body part. |
