A method and system for program processing, and a client and server for program processing are used to solve the problem that a malicious program utilizes a program in a credible whitelist to load a malicious DLL file, leading to the result that the active defense cannot intercept the malicious program normally. The program processing method comprises: when it is detected that a program to be executed is creating a process, acquiring feature information about the program to be executed; uploading the feature information about the program to be executed to a server, and the server matching the feature information about the program to be executed with a predetermined cloud authentication condition to obtain a matching result; receiving the matching result returned from the server, and determining whether the program to be executed has a kidnapped DLL file according to the matching result. Malicious programs can thus be intercepted more effectively.
