Household appliance devices i.e. induction hob devices, have cables connected with shielding elements in operating condition, where shielding elements comprise deformation sections for electrically connecting cables with shielding elements

The devices (20, 30) have cables (24, 34) connected with shielding elements (22, 32) in an operating condition. The shielding elements comprise deformation sections (26, 36) for electrically connecting the cables with the shielding elements. The shielding elements shield a household appliance power electronic unit (16) from a household appliance heating unit (14) i.e. household appliance induction heating unit. One of the cables has a plug contact at an end that is turned away from one of the shielding elements, where the contact is connected with a ground connection of the electronic unit. The shielding elements are designed as elements for transmitting electromagnetic waves. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a household appliance device.
