The transmission (1) has two partial transmissions (2, 3), where each partial transmission includes an input shaft (EW1) and an output shaft (AW). A reduction gear (6) is arranged with a countershaft, where one of the input shafts is connected to the countershaft by a gear. A switching element (SE1) is connected to one of the output shafts, where the switching element is placed on the countershaft axis. Gear planes (I-VII) are arranged such that the countershaft is completely decoupled from a countershaft axis, where the gear planes are arranged in one of the two partial transmissions.
