PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method capable of recovering heavy oil for fuel from an aluminum-based composite material formed by stacking an aluminum layer and a resin layer, and capable of recovering metal aluminum and alloy thereof.SOLUTION: A method includes distilling an oil component by dry distillation treating a composite material of an aluminum material and a resin material at a temperature of 250 to 450°C, and filtration purifying the distillated oil component.
