PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine capable of suppressing the reduction of an oil passage area while securing gasket seal performance between a cylinder head and a cylinder block.SOLUTION: An engine (internal combustion engine) 1 includes a cylinder head 21 having upper oil passages 212a-212d along a row direction of a cylinder bore 223, and a cylinder block 22 arranged under the cylinder head 21 through a gasket 23 having a bead part 23a. The cylinder block 22 includes an oil merging part 226 provided on a lower part of a first (second) oil chamber 222a (222b) in which the upper oil passages 212a-212d merge, a partition wall part 24 arranged above the merging part 226 so as to get out of the center and partitioning the first (second) oil chamber 222a (222b), and a lower oil passage 224 for delivering oil merging in the merging part 226 to an oil pan 30. |
