<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery monitoring device that suppresses scaling up of a monitoring circuit and prevents a battery cell from being overcharged while simultaneously charging adjacent cells.SOLUTION: A voltage detection part 223 of a monitoring circuit 22 detects a cell voltage of a battery cell BCi at low potential side in adjacent battery cells 10 from a potential difference between second and third branching lines Ldiv2, Ldiv3, and detects a cell voltage of a battery cell BCi+1 at high potential side in the adjacent battery cells 10 from a potential difference between fourth and fifth branching lines Ldiv4, Ldiv5. In addition, an equalization switch SWi corresponding to the battery cell BCi at the low potential side is connected to a first and the fourth branching lines Ldiv1, Ldiv4, and an equalization switch SWi+1 corresponding to the battery cell BCi+1 at the high potential side is connected to the third and a sixth branching lines Ldiv3, Ldiv6.</p> |
