<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counting device and a counting method that can enhance counting precision for a plate body having a special structure.SOLUTION: A counting device 100 includes a light source 10, a camera 30 having a sensor which receives image light of a counting object 20, and a processing part 50 which performs counting processing on the basis of an image signal obtained from the camera 30. The height position of the camera 30 is so set that a sensor optical axis 30A is arranged at a height position off an axis C at the z-directional center position of a stack 25 of optical disks D as plate bodies. Consequently, variance in state of reception of reflected light from a reflecting layer 22 by the camera 30 can b e suppressed. Consequently, counting precision for the optical disks D having a special structure can be enhanced.</p> |
