<p>A method of generating and displaying data display elements in a computer system. A data display element comprises a standardised data set and a display configuration for the data set. The standardised data set comprises a set of data values, and the display configuration defines how the data values making up the standardised data set are displayed. If a request from a user made using the graphical representation of a first data display element to combine the first data display element with a second data display element is received, a combined data display element is generated. The combined data display element comprises a combined standardised data set generated by combining the sets of data values of the data sets of the first and second data display elements, and a display configuration for the combined standardised data set derived from the display configurations of at least one of first and second data display elements.</p> |
