Disclosed in the present invention is a method for processing an eyeglass lens that undergoes water repellency processing to have a smooth surface. The method for processing an eyeglass lens comprises as follows: a step of linearly moving a lens in the direction of a diamond coating wheel (Y direction) in order to make one end of the lens in contact with the rotating diamond coating wheel, and grinding the lens up to a lens shape to be processed from the contact point by continuously pressing the lens to the diamond coating wheel; and a step of separating the lens from the diamond coating wheel, rotating the lens by a fixed angle (R-axis motion), and then grinding the lens up to a lens shape to be processed by linearly moving the lens in the direction of the diamond coating wheel (Y direction) again. |
