PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of facilitating an operation to lift up a suction port body or move the suction port body in a horizontal direction without deteriorating operability.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner 1 comprises: a suction port body 6; and an operation body 4. The suction port body 6 sucks dust together with air from an opening that is formed to face downward. The operation body 4 is the body to be used by a user in order to operate the suction port body 6. The operation body 4 includes a grip part 15 and an arm support part 16. The grip part 15 is gripped by a user. The arm support part 16 supports the arm of a user on the side of the grip part 15. The arm support part 16 supports a region between a wrist and an elbow in the arm of a user holding the grip part 15.
