PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a gasoline blend having a high concentration of a butanol isomer and having good cold start and warm-up driveability performance.SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of: forming a blend of a high concentration of at least one butanol isomer and at least one gasoline blending stock; and maintaining at least 35 vol% the volume fraction of the resulting gasoline blend that evaporates at temperatures up to about 200°F. The formed blend contains preferably at least about 20 vol%, more preferably at least about 30 vol%, and most preferably at least about 40 vol% of the at least one butanol isomer. |
