PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the installation workability of a discrete type photoelectronic sensor.SOLUTION: The photoelectronic sensor 100 includes: a head 102 having a light projection section 102a and a light receiving section 102b; an amplifier 101 that is connected to the head 102 via a cable 130, and transmits, to a controller such as a PLC, a signal corresponding to a comparison result between the quantity of received light and a threshold; and a setting switch 120 that is disposed in the head 102 and operated by a user. When the setting switch 120 is operated, the amplifier 101 sets the threshold in accordance to the quantity of received light. |
