<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water jacket spacer capable of contributing to an early warming-up.SOLUTION: A spacer 7 is made of a resin into a hollow structure having an inner wall 8 and an outer wall 9. A partition 13 for blocking the circumferential flow of cooling water is disposed at one longitudinal end portion, and an inlet hole 14 and an outlet hole 15 opened upward are formed in two sides across the partition 13. The cooling water exchanges the heat with a cylinder block 1 through the inner wall 8 and the outer wall 9. Since the spacer 7 is made of the resin, however, the heat of the cooling water can be suppressed from being taken off by the cylinder block 1 at a warm-up operation time. As a result, an early warm-up can be realized.</p> |
