PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitance type touch panel capable of suppressing occurence of operation failure when exposed under high temperature and high humidity environment and enhancing a yield.SOLUTION: The capacitance type touch panel comprises: an insulation layer; a plurality of electrode parts arranged on at least one principal surface of the insulation layer; a plurality of lead-out wiring parts arranged on the principal surface of the insulation layer having the plurality of arranged electrode parts and having respective ends connected to the corresponding electrode parts; a transparent resin layer arranged on the electrode parts and the lead-out wiring parts so that respective other ends of the lead-out wiring parts are exposed; and a substrate arranged on the transparent resin layer. At least sealing layer is arranged in a specified place. A chlorine ion permeability of the sealing layer is 1.0 mgCl(100 μm)/cm/yor less, and an average number of pinholes existing on the sealing layer surface and having a diameter of 1 μm or more is 5 (pinholes/mm) or less.
