<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiling-water reactor for improving the insertion property of a control rod by reducing the deformation of a fuel assembly when an earthquake occurs.SOLUTION: The boiling-water reactor includes: an upper grid plate 7 having a lattice shape for laterally supporting a fuel assembly 10; a fuel support metal fitting 9 for supporting a lower part of the fuel assembly 10; and a core support plate 8 for supporting a fuel support metal fitting 10. The upper grid plate 7 has a projection 7a in the center part of each side constituting each grid. The width Wof the projection 7a is smaller than the width Wof a water gap 17. The lower surface of the projection 7a has the same height as that of the lower surface of the upper grid plate.</p> |
