A mobile communication terminal and a method for performing a condition manner mode thereof are provided to inform a user of a communication event, received from a specific person, through a bell sound although a manner mode is set up. If a user selects a manner mode in a stand-by screen state, a manner mode setting unit sets up a conditional manner mode(S21). A communication event determining unit determines whether a communication event is received or not(S23). If the communication event is received, the communication event determining unit determines whether the originating phone number of the event is the phone number of a specific person or not(S25). If so, a manner mode performing unit outputs a bell sound(S27). But, if not, the manner mode performing unit outputs vibration(S29). |
