The present invention relates to a face information providing system and a face information providing service method for a hearing-impaired person and, more specifically, to a face information providing system and a face information providing service method, for a hearing-impaired person, which sense a surrounding sound through a microphone array which is included in a hat of the hearing-impaired person, calculate a sound source direction, photograph an image by controlling a camera in the calculated sound source direction, and provide a photographed image screen with the calculated sound source direction which is calculated in a portable terminal of the hearing-impaired person in case a face is detected in the photographed image. The face information providing system for a hearing-impaired person, provided by the present invention, displays the face image and sound source direction of a person who calls the hearing-impaired person through a portable terminal of the hearing-impaired person by including: the microphone array which recognizes a sound around the hearing-impaired person by including at least one microphone; a camera module which photographs a subject by having an imaging camera; a communication module for being in charge of a wireless local area communication with the portable terminal of the hearing-impaired person; and a control module which detects the sound source direction of the sound which is recognized through the microphone array, photographs the subject by controlling the camera module in the detected sound source direction, and transmits the detected sound source direction and the photographed face image to the portable terminal of the hearing-impaired person through the communication module in case a face is detected by applying a face detection algorithm to the photographed image. |
