PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rice oil, rice bran and rice seed having a level in which the content of oleic acid, palmitic acid and/or linolic acid is changed, and to provide a method for genetically modifying rice plants in such a manner that the rice oil, rice bran and rice seed to be produced has a level in which the content of oleic acid, palmitic acid and/or linolic acid is changed.SOLUTION: The adjustment of Fad2 and/or FatB expression in a cell is genetically modified compared with a cell lacked in polynucleotide when it is present in the cell of rice plants.
