PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soluble polyimide composition having all low concentrations of sodium, calcium, potassium and iron.SOLUTION: A soluble polyimide composition contains a structural unit represented by the general formula (1) as a main component, and has concentrations of sodium, calcium, potassium and iron of 3 ppm or less. In the formula (1), Rrepresents a tetravalent to octavalent organic group having 2 or more carbon atoms, Rrepresents a bivalent to hexavalent organic group having 2 or more carbon atoms, and p and q represent each an integer of 0 to 4 and p+q≥1. |
