This invention provides a device for securing an object to a supporting surface of a transport vehicle. The device includes a primary support member and clamping means for releasably clamping the primary support member to the transport vehicle. At least one attachment formation is associated with the primary support member. A restraining element is releasably connectable to the attachment formation such that the primary support member and restraining element can act in combination to inhibit movement of the object during transit.
