PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for a vehicle for reducing deterioration of a power storage device.SOLUTION: A power supply device for a vehicle comprises: a power storage device 110; a power supplying/receiving unit (inlet 220) configured so that power can be supplied/received between the power storage device 110 and a power supply system 900 outside the vehicle; and a control unit (ECU300) which controls the vehicle so as to discharge the power storage device 110 to the power supply system 900 or so as to decrease temperature of the power storage device 110, when a condition that the power supplying/receiving unit is in a state of being capable of supplying/receiving power with the power supply system 900 and a state of charging of the power storage device 110 is higher than a predetermined threshold corresponding to current temperature of the power storage device 110 is satisfied. Preferably, the control unit periodically makes a battery monitoring unit 112 stop and start, in the case that charging the power storage device 110 through the power supplying/receiving unit has started and completed. |
