The cover has cover parts that are connected with each other using eyelets to use as a cover and/or as a sail. The cover expands in a covering position, and is fixed appropriately on a mast (6) and/or a tree in a watercraft type manner. The cover forms a sail in a feathered position. An upper segment of the cover is in the shape of polygon. Fastening elements (11) e.g. eyelets, are provided for mounting or trimming the sail for securing or bracing the cover.
