Disclosed is a cabin protection apparatus for a construction machine, capable of opening/closing, in a swinging manner, the front guard mounted onto the front surface of a cabin so as to protect a driver. The cabin protection apparatus for a construction machine according to the present invention, comprises: a first support and second support mounted onto the left and right sides of the front surface of the cabin; a front guard hingededly fixed to the first support such that the front guard opens/closes the cabin in the horizontal direction; a striker mounted onto the second support; and a locking device which is mounted onto the front guard so as to correspond to the striker and which consists of a latch that is locked/unlocked to/from the striker when the front guard opens/closes the cabin.
