The present invention relates to a power blocking device according to load current comprising a mode setting unit, a first reference current value setting unit, and a load power blocking unit. When an automatic mode is set by the mode setting unit, the first reference current value setting unit sets more than setting percent of the average value of a current value which is measured during setting time in which current is stabilized after applying initial power as an upper reference current value of a load. The first reference current value setting unit sets less than setting percent of the average value as a lower reference current value of the load. The load power blocking unit selectively blocks the power supplied to the load according to the comparison result between the upper reference current value/the lower reference current value and the load current. The present invention is provided to secure the adaptability and the safety (fire prevention) according to the changed load current at the same time and to protect a corresponding product.
