PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an echo signal processing apparatus, a radar apparatus, an echo signal processing method, and an echo signal processing program that can more accurately estimate the velocity vectors of targets.SOLUTION: An echo signal processing apparatus 3 is provided with an echo detecting unit 12, an unnoticed encounter determining unit 16, a representative point information selecting unit 17, and a displayed vector processing unit 18. The unnoticed encounter determining unit 16 determines on the basis of temporal transition of echo signals, which are waves reflected by a specific target, whether or not a state of unnoticed encounter has occurred. The representative point information selecting unit 17 selects out of the echo signals according to the result of determination by the unnoticed encounter discriminating unit 16 information for use in calculating the estimated velocity vector of a specific target. The displayed vector processing unit 18, using the information selected by the representative point information selecting unit 17, generates the estimated velocity vector of a target 21. |
