PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to reduce man-hours for transition tests when an information system is switched from an existing system to a new system under the situation where the scale of the transition tests expands as the information system becomes bigger.SOLUTION: In tests for a system transition, request messages to an existing system are obtained by packet capture or the like and they are sent to a new system after some processes such as acquisition time correction. Response messages from the existing system are also obtained by packet capture or the like, and then they are compared with response messages from the new system. After that, a correspondence table is prepared based on the specifications in order to identify which screens the request messages and the response messages of the existing system and the request messages and the response messages of the new system are sent to and received from. By using this correspondence table, the screen name of each message is identified. By checking the screen name against screen names contained in the checklist, it is identified which checklist item each screen name corresponds to. Then, whether or not the messages of the new system are identical with the messages of the existing system is entered in the checklist. |
