PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording device which includes a plurality of recording heads and a waste liquid tray receiving ink discharged from the plurality of recording heads, and can reduce deposition of the ink received in the waste liquid tray.SOLUTION: An ink jet recording device includes a plurality of recording heads 22 which discharge ink, and a waste liquid tray 60, as a waste liquid tray 60 which receives the ink discharged from the plurality of recording heads 22, which includes an ink discharge part 64 discharging the ink to outside the waste liquid tray 60 and an inclined part 62 which is arranged below the plurality of recording heads 22 and so inclined as to guide the received ink to the ink discharge part 64. A recording head 22 which discharges ink having high dry viscosity among the plurality of recording heads 22 is arranged nearer to the ink discharge part 64 than recording heads 22 which discharge ink with low dry viscosity, the dry viscosity being the viscosity of the ink when the drying rate of the ink is equal. |
