PURPOSE: A ginseng composition containing a ginseng concentrate, water soluble polysaccharides, and a thickener is provided to ensure dissolubility and to be used in a food, drug, and cosmetic product. CONSTITUTION: A ginseng composition contains: 0.1-80 parts by weight of ginseng concentrate; 0.01-80 parts by weight of water soluble polysaccharides; and 0.01-10 parts by weight of thickener. The water soluble polysaccharides contain 0.01-80 parts by weight of maltodextrin and 1-80 parts by weight of indigestible matodextrin. The thickener is detran, gellan gum, rhamsan gum, welan gum, xanthan gum, or microfibrous cellulose. The viscosity of the composition is 450-550 cps. |
