The present invention relates to a tester for friction and abrasion which comprises: a measuring unit which includes a pressurizing means, and a displacement sensor and a load cell pressurized by the pressurizing means; a jig unit which fixates a specimen; and a rotation means which generates rotation frictional force. The tester for friction and abrasion can accurately measure the amount of abrasion through a displacement sensor unit for measuring the amount of movement of an operating plate of the measuring unit. A universal motor is used as a rotating motor of the rotation means for rotating the specimen but other components of the rotation means can be replaced with mechanical devices. Therefore, the test can reduce maintenance costs by replacing the universal rotating motor only during the failure of the motor because of not using a motor at a high price capable of rotating normally and reversely. In addition, the test can reduce a damage rate according to overload of the rotation means by changing the position of a friction part of the specimen depending on the hardness of the specimen because the specimen can be mounted in order to rotate or be fixated by changing an upper jig and a lower jig formed on an upper jig unit and a lower jig unit of the jig unit. |
