A bone implant comprises support structure (1) made of metal alloy and consists of biodegradable and absorbable protective structure which contains material different from support structure and is arranged at and/or on support structure to surround and protect the support structure from contacting any aggressive body fluid in a position anchored in a bone of an individual, such as a mammal.
