The gas-turbine axial compressor has a casing and a rotatable shaft, which form an annular duct, in which a stator (2) and a rotor (4) are arranged. A shroud (21) is arranged at a free end of the stator vanes, which extends over part of the axial length of the stator. Another part of the axial length of the stator, at which no shroud is arranged, radially adjoins a rotor platform formed by a rotor hub. |
