The present invention relates to a remote checking system for smoke detectors and a device thereof. The remote checking system for smoke detectors according to an aspect of the present invention includes; a smoke detector which includes a photodetector which generates electric currents when the light from an illuminator scatters by smoke and is detected by the photodetector; and a receptor which transmits a check signal to a smoke detector via a network to force the smoke detector to apply the currents to transistor bases, and determines whether the smoke detector is damaged according to the reception of a fire signal from the smoke detector in response to the check signal. The present invention enables a user to check if the smoke detector is operating properly in a remote space, thereby enabling easier inspection for the smoke detectors.
