PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-band radio communication device which solves a problem that in order to simultaneously perform detection of a non-detected station and communication with a detected station, the size of the device increases. SOLUTION: A frequency converter 102 multiplies a received signal by a local signal to convert a frequency of the received signal. An A/D converter 104 converts the received signal whose frequency has been converted, into a digital signal. A control device 105 switches between a first reception mode in which a local frequency is set to a middle value between a highest frequency and a lowest frequency of a plurality of target communication channels, and a sampling frequency of the A/D converter 104 is set to a frequency which is equal to or larger than a value obtained by subtracting the lowest frequency from the highest frequency, and a second reception mode in which the local frequency is set to a middle value between a highest frequency and a lowest frequency of a specific communication channel, and the sampling frequency is set to a frequency which is lower than the sampling frequency in the first reception mode, to perform the detection of a non-detected station and the communication with an already-detected station.
