An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to maintain an excellent mechanical property while enabling an optical alignment by using an alignment film. A method for fabricating an LCD device comprises the steps of: preparing a first substrate and a second substrate; applying a photosensitive alignment film made of a polyamide - polyimide block copolymer; heating the substrate to which the alignment film is applied; stabling the substrate; and forming a liquid crystal cell by boding two substrates. |
