The present invention provides a collet for fixing a cutting tool as a collet attached to or detached from a fastening nut. The collet includes: a body, which includes an insertion portion inserted into a check, and a receiving portion formed to receive a cutting tool inside the insertion portion; a holding neck, which is extended from the insertion portion, and concavely formed such that a protrusion of the fastening nut is held by the holding neck; and a head, which is extended from the holding neck, and includes a first curved portion formed such that the first curved portion faces the protrusion to get a narrower outer diameter thereof, when an external force acts to the body in a direction crossing the center axis of the body, and a flat portion, which is extended from the first curved portion, and formed to be inclined relative to the center axis, and separated from the protrusion while being in surface contact with a front end surface of the protrusion to be slide with the outer diameter reduced, when an external force acts to the flat portion in the crossing direction. |
