PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen changer for fluid, which is reduced in size and weight without reduction in filtering area. SOLUTION: A main inlet port of fluid is directly or indirectly provided on one side of a cubic casing, and two branch paths are extended from the main inlet port along the side to form sub-inlet ports of the casing at the respective ends. A cylindrical space is provided substantially at the center of the casing at a right angle to the inlet port, and two filtering means are removably inserted to the space from both axial sides thereof, and the inlet ports of the respective filtering means communicate with the branch paths through the sub-inlet ports of the casing. The outlet sides of the filtering means are located close to the center of the casing, and combined together to form a communicating path, and an outlet port is provided at the middle thereof to be opened to the outer surface near the axial center of the casing. A selector valve is provided at an intersection of the main inlet port with the branch paths to distribute an inlet flow to the whole or one side of the branch paths. COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
