The cast cylinder-crankcase (1) for a motor vehicle internal combustion engine has a separate fluid guide duct (5,5d) cast into it. The duct can be to supply oil to a crankcase or camshaft bearing. There can be multiple fluid feed ducts forming a branched fluid feed channel. The ducts can have curved sections. There can be a separate feed duct to the cylinder head.
