A auxiliary fan unit (1) includes: an auxiliary fan (2a) for releasing the exhaust from the outdoor unit (8) to an outside; and first variable speed drive means (23) for driving the auxiliary fan (2a) at variable speeds. The outdoor unit (8) includes: second variable speed drive means (22) for driving an outdoor fan (2b) at variable speeds; and a control section (21) for issuing a speed command for the outdoor fan (2b) to the second variable speed drive means (22). The control section (21) issues a speed command for the auxiliary fan (2a) to the first variable speed drive means (23) to thereby control such that the auxiliary fan (2a) and the outdoor fan (2b) increase or decrease speeds thereof at an identical speed ratio.
