The present invention relates to a plug for blocking standby power. The present invention provides a plug for blocking standby power, wherein a bimetal or a shape memory alloy is directly connected with a power supply wire and inserted into one side of a power connecting unit, and a power supply wire is directly connected to the other side of the power connecting unit in a conventional way so that standby power can be blocked when electric appliances are not used. Currently, a power supplying plug which can block standby power by itself has not been released in market. Only, products using both a power supplying plug and a blocking switch have been released. |
