Biodegradable polyester film comprises: (in wt.%) a biodegradable polyester based on aliphatic and aromatic dicarboxylic acids and an aliphatic dihydroxy compound (80-95, based on the total wt.% of components (i)-(ii)); (ii) polyhydroxyalkanoate (5-20, based on the total wt.% of components (i)-(ii)); (iii) calcium carbonate (0-25, based on the total wt. of components (i)-(vi)); (iv) talc (0-15, based on the total wt.% of components (i)-(vi)); and (v) polylactic acid and/or starch (0-30, based on the total wt.% of components (i)-(vi)). Biodegradable polyester film comprises: (in wt.%) a biodegradable polyester based on aliphatic and aromatic dicarboxylic acids and an aliphatic dihydroxy compound (80-95, based on the total wt.% of components (i)-(ii)); (ii) polyhydroxyalkanoate (5-20, based on the total wt.% of components (i)-(ii)); (iii) calcium carbonate (0-25, based on the total wt.% of components (i)-(vi)); (iv) talc (0-15, based on the total wt.% of components (i)-(vi)); (v) polylactic acid and/or starch (0-30, based on the total wt.% of components (i)-(vi)); and (vi) 2-(4,6-bis-biphenyl-4-yl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)-5-(2-ethyl-(n)-hexyloxy)phenol (0-2, based on the total wt.% of components (i)-(vi)). An independent claim is also included for producing the polyester film by a blown film process, where a blow-up ratio is of 2:1:1-6. |
